Keepstone

Affiliate disclosure

How Keepstone makes money, and the rule that keeps it from bending the reviews.

Keepstone is reader-supported. Some of the links to hosting companies on this site are affiliate links: if you click one and buy a plan, the host pays us a commission at no additional cost to you. That commission is how the site funds its research. It is also the reason this page exists — so you know exactly where our incentive sits.

The one rule

A commission never changes a score, a rank or a verdict. Our ordering is set by the criteria we publish — total cost across tiers, performance, features, support and pricing honesty — and the payout on a given host has no weight in it. Some hosts we rate highly pay well; some pay little; and at least one option we recommend, a self-run server on a provider like Hetzner, pays us nothing at all. If a recommendation only made sense because of a commission, it wouldn't be here.

Every outbound partner link on Keepstone is marked as sponsored and passes through a /go/ redirect so it is easy to identify, and each is tagged rel="sponsored nofollow". Near each link we disclose that it is an affiliate link. The hosts currently in our partner set include Kinsta, WP Engine, Cloudways, Rocket.net, Liquid Web, Nexcess, Pressable and Flywheel; the list changes as programs open or close, and a link's presence is never a signal that a host paid for placement.

Prices and accuracy

The prices and plan details on this site are advertised figures read on the dates we publish, and managed WordPress pricing changes constantly — always confirm the current number on the host's own site before buying. If you spot something out of date, tell us and we'll fix it. You can see the disclosure in action on our ranking of the best managed WordPress hosting, where every host link is a disclosed affiliate link.
